Will you support more than one site?
Yes. At a minimum, each site will have the “Startup” hosting package. If you select a higher level hosting & support plan with small tasks included for one of the websites, you are welcome to divide the tasks between the sites as needed each month.
Do you host/support websites you did not build?
Yes. So long as your website is a WordPress website, our team is capable of providing you with hosting and support services. We will do an initial review to ensure that the site is compatible with our hosting environment, free of malware, and that the theme and plugins are all up to date. In some cases, depending upon the status of the website, there may be a fee to cover the time spent ensuring compatibility.
What are “small tasks”?
Small tasks are any websites maintenance or support tasks that can reasonably be completed in 30 minutes or less. This could include things like making small changes to content, checking page size and load time, install and configure a simple plugin, make changes to the header, sidebar, and other sections of the site, optimize images, tweak your CSS or theme functionality, and optimizing a page for search engine performance. Any tasks that take more than 30 minutes, such as creating custom graphics, researching/writing blog posts, or adding significant features/functionality to your website are not considered small tasks and are billed separately.
How long does a task take to complete?
We respond to the vast majority support tickets within 1 business day and complete tasks within 2-3 business days. Clients with the PEAK hosting & support plan receive priority response and shorter turnaround time for small task(s). If you know that you will need something done on your website by a specific date, it is always helpful to let us know a few days in advance so we can schedule time on our calendar, though that is not always necessary. Task requests sent over the weekend will generally be completed Monday morning unless we deem them to be urgent.
Do you offer a nonprofit discount?
Yes. We offer a 20% discount on all products and services for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. At the time of the initiation of your first project, we will request a copy of your IRS designation letter; once it has been received the discount will be applied to all future bills.
